How to Enrol – College Intern Training Program

Cohort 1 2026 enrolments opened Monday 3rd November 2025. The program for Cohort 1 will officially commence on Monday 2nd February 2026. Enrolments for this Cohort will close on Wednesday 25th March 2026.  

Program Intakes

The College ITP offers a flexible course structure, with assessments that can be completed at your own pace.

  • COHORT 1 INTAKE – Commences 1st week of February annually
  • COHORT 2 INTAKE – Commences 1st week of August annually

Enrolments open prior to each cohort commencing.

Before enrolling, please review the available payment options for the College Intern Training Program below to ensure you follow the steps in the enrolment form to select your preferred option.

Option #1 – Payment in full Option #2 – Payment plan
  • Full upfront payment of $1,950
  • Six (6) instalments of $325

  • The College Accounts Team will then organise your payment

Your College ITP enrolment application may take up to one week for processing due to high volumes during our peak season. Please check your email, including your junk folder, regularly for important updates. If any additional documents are needed, our team will reach out to you via email soon. 

Before you Enrol 

Only enrol once your provisional registration, preceptor, and practice site have been approved by AHPRA. If you have not yet applied for provisional registration, please visit the Pharmacy Board of Australia website for details. 

Have your Preceptor’s and Employer’s email addresses ready, as these are required for enrolment.  

Steps to Enrol

1. Complete the Enrolment Form

2. Prepare your enrolment documents 

After submitting your form, you’ll receive an email outlining the next steps. You’ll need to provide: 

  • Copy of Pharmacy Degree or academic transcript 
  • Copy of OPRA/KAPS skills assessment outcome letter (if overseas trained) 
  • Proof of Professional Indemnity Insurance – PDL Certificate of Cover 
  • Provide Preceptor and Employer email if not supplied upon enrolment  

 

3. Complete ITP Agreement and Payment  

After your enrolment has been processed, an email will be sent with payment instructions, if full payment was not made at the time of enrolment, along with a DocuSign link to complete the ITP Agreement. The intern, employer, and nominated preceptor must all sign this document. 
 

4. Enrolment Approved 

Following approval of your enrolment documents, access to your online learner portal will be provided when your cohort begins, or within two business days if it has already commenced. 

 
Important Note: Cancelling your enrolment after submission may result in an administration fee.  

 

International or Overseas Graduate? 

If you completed your pharmacy degree outside Australia, or as an international student in Australia or New Zealand, visit the Australian Pharmacy Council (APC) website to have your qualification recognised before enrolling in the College ITP. 

The Australasian College of Pharmacy’s Foundations of Australian Community Pharmacy Course can help support a smooth pathway into an Australian community pharmacy career. Successful completion of this course provides a $199 discount towards the College Intern Training Program.
