Hardings Pharmacy is a small, independent community pharmacy looking for a motivated student to join our team. Healthcare is our focus and as an intern you will be involved in all parts of the business; you won’t be standing out the back dispensing. We are a forward dispensing pharmacy so there is plenty of time to sit (yes, we have chairs!) and have a chat with your patients (especially since our dispensing robot will spit the medications out for you) and if you need to dig a little deeper we have a couple of consult rooms available as well. You will also have multiple pharmacists on hand (as well as good coffee) to help support you to reach your potential.
We offer all the usual services: Vaccinations, DAA (packed offsite, so you won’t be stuck out the back filling webster packs all day), Blood Pressure Checks, HCP and UTI Prescribing, Medschecks, Simple Compounding. We also offer some lesser known services like advice on Lego, yoga and stretching positions and where to find the best food nearby.
Hours will be Monday – Friday 9am-5pm, with no weekend work involved (or we can mix it up a bit if it suits you better).
We are looking for someone who has a drive to care for their community, has great communication skills and sees learning as a life-long goal. If this sounds like you and the kind of place you would like to grow in, please send through a resume and we can get you in for a chat (and a coffee).
