About us:

About the role:

We have Intern Pharmacist positions available for 2025 at:

This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a busy pharmacy setting, working alongside experienced pharmacists and healthcare professionals. As an Intern Pharmacist, you will be involved in all aspects of pharmacy operations, from patient care to dispensing medications, and will have the chance to develop your skills in a supportive and educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the dispensing of prescriptions and ensure the accurate preparation of medications
  • Provide patient counselling and advice on the safe use of medications and over-the-counter products
  • Engage in clinical services such as MedsChecks and vaccination programs
  • Support the pharmacist in managing the pharmacy’s daily operations, including stock control, inventory management, and ordering
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and build positive relationships with patients
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the pharmacy team

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy
  • Be provisionally registered with AHPRA by early 2025
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer care
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and take initiative when required
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced work environment
  • Professionalism and a positive attitude towards ongoing learning and development
